Balls and Rollers

The rolling elements used in bearings can mainly be devided into balls and rollers. While balls only differ in materials and precision classes, rollers can additionally be found in many different geometric shapes:

  • Cylindrical rollers
  • Tapered rollers
  • Needle rollers
  • Spherical rollers
  • Toroidal rollers

Usually, all rolling elements are made of chrome steel 100Cr6 and its equivalents, but stainless steels and ceramics are also applied when required.

In case you manufacture own devices like constant velocity joints (CVJ) etc., FLT offers suitable balls and rollers in metric and imperial dimensions.
